I grew up on a farm in central Nebraska and have lived in the Midwest all my life. I’m especially proud that our family was honored for 100 years of continuous farm ownership in 2018.
My husband and I have been married for more than 30 years and our three children have settled in the Midwest. While raising our family, I published several parenting-related personal essays and served on the editorial staffs of Literary Mama and Our Iowa. (Read more here.) In previous chapters of my life, I held positions in both business and nonprofit communities.
My interests, today, remained rooted around family and the home–and in particular, that of family history.
